ABOUT US
Aaron & Betsy Palmer married on January 1, 2011 and have both had a heart for missions since their youth. Since marrying they have spent time in youth ministry in Missouri & Tennessee, and have also spent nearly two years living in Verviers, Belgium to direct and oversee the Freed-Hardeman University Study Abroad program for FHU students in Europe.
Aaron is originally from Paragould, AR and attended Freed-Hardeman University to study Bible from 2007-10 where he graduated with a B.A. During this time Aaron developed an interest in French and was given the opportunity to study and travel extensively in the French-speaking world. Overall, Aaron has been able to work on campaigns and short term missions in 10 French-speaking nations since 2010. He also graduated with his M.A. in French from the University of New Orleans in 2021. Before moving to Colmar, Aaron worked as the youth minister at the Crieve Hall church of Christ in Nashville, TN.
Betsy is originally from Nashville, TN and attended Freed-Hardeman University from 2006-2010 where she obtained a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW). During the summer of 2009 Betsy spent three months working along side Roberta Edwards at the Son Light Children's Home in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Betsy has also worked with at-risk children through the Carl Perkins Center in Henderson, TN. Most recently her social work career led her to geriatric care at the Health Center at Richland Place. Betsy works full-time as a mother and alongside Aaron in their ministry together.
Aaron & Betsy have two daughters, Celeste Joy (6) and Harmony Faith (3). The Palmers have been living in Colmar since May 2019.
